This is the best Mexican food place, compared to others. I love this place . The burrito is the best. Food quality 10/10, service 10/10, taste 10/10.

Mercado is a place that lures you in from the delicious smells that waft into the parking lot. My first time here was a fortunate and unexpected turn of events, and my second was intentional, and for take out. Both times, I enjoyed delicious tacos made on their authentic, house-made tortillas. The carnitas and suadero tacos are especially good. There is limited seating, but it wasn't too busy on both occasions. I hope I can try the whole menu someday:)
We've purchased tortillas and tortilla chips here before, but had only ever eaten actual meals at Originals. So I was excited to order a burrito and side when I had a rare night to myself--unfortunately the Uber Eats driver never delivered my order and the Uber Eats (lack of) customer service refused to believe me or do anything about it. I figured I was out the money and the meal. But when I called Mercado, the woman I spoke to was so nice and helpful, even offering me a credit for a future pick-up order (no more Uber Eats for me!). Such a welcome act of kindness after the frustration of dealing with Uber. I'm looking forward to my future burrito and hope the one I ordered was enjoyed by someone at another address as a fun surprise. We'll definitely be dining at Mercado more often now!
Authentic mexican shop with a few seats, but meant more for take out. They sell a lot of hot sauce in addition to food. The protein has a lot of flavour and the tortillas taste amazing. They have delicious vegetarian options too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back!
Outstanding! I don't normally leave reviews, but this place deserves it. I didn't know about this gem until tonight! Food is made fresh daily, and it's obvious! Fresh veggies and meat make all the difference, and the flavor is on point with generous portions. On top of this, the staff is really kind and there is a friendly atmosphere among them and their customers. New favorite! Thanks, guys! We will definitely be back.
Ignore all the lame white people in the reviews whining about the size of their burritos. This place is bomb and they should stay home eating white people wraps with unseasoned ground beef, pace pacante sauce and ranch. The tacos are some of the best I’ve had in BC. Hands down. You can tell everything is in house made and the seasoning was on point. Sorta pricey? Yes. Everything is pricey for small businesses that aren’t pumping out volume so that’s kinda expected at these places. But I’m my opinion this place is a winner.
Wow, this is amazing... had a burrito and I think it’s amazing. The meat tastes real... you can tell it’s actual quality meat. If you like more veggies- ask for more tomatoes or avocado. Def worth trying
